Violin Lessons
Laura typically begins all students from the age of six. She strives to create a studio environment that is supportive and nurturing. “I believe music lessons should be fun and engaging while helping each student reach his or her full potential, both in and out of the studio. Violin is a study in excellence, and I approach all of my students with that at the forefront”.
Lessons are taught in her studio in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Please contact Laura for directions and address.

Summer lessons and extra lessons/rehearsals are charged on a per-lesson basis at the same rate of $70/hour. Summer lessons are required unless there are camp and/or vacation conflicts. There will be no charges during those two exceptions.
Any rehearsals with my accompanist are to be paid by cash or check directly to him at the time of the rehearsal and are at a rate of $80/hr.
Makeup & Cancellation Policy
There are no guaranteed makeup lessons given to a student who misses during the school year. I will hold makeup lessons or refund any/all lessons that I need to cancel due to my own family needs.
STUDENTS SHOULD NOT COME TO LESSONS IF THEY ARE ILL. Please keep in mind there are many of you and one of me!
Extended illness is an extenuating circumstance and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Lesson Etiquette
To gain the most from your time, please have your children's violins and music ready to go at the start of the lesson.
Make sure hands are washed and bathroom trips are completed.
I ask that parents keep comments to a minimum during your child's short lessons, if you are attending. I am very well trained and have specific reasons for why I do what I do.
You may ask questions, take notes and record at any time to ensure good practice at home. Practice is to be assisted by you at home every day. Listening to your assigned music daily is also mandatory.
