About Laura Warren
Laura’s goal is to help children find passion, appreciation and dedication through learning to play the violin in a fun and friendly environment. Music is invaluable to our daily lives and can help our children thrive in every aspect of life. Through group and private lessons, performance and study we can achieve these goals and more!
Laura began her violin studies at the age of five with Clorinda Noyes, former Director of the New England Suzuki Institute. Laura went on to study with Ronald Lantz of the Portland String Quartet, followed by Matt Glaser while attending Berklee College of Music.
With nearly 40 years of professional training and performance and over 15 years teaching, Laura is overjoyed to offer her teaching in her hometown of Cape Elizabeth, Maine!
She has lived in the Greater Portland area throughout different points in her life and has had wonderful opportunities to play, learn, teach and participate in various musical activities all over the world.
